A $40,000 Boost for Community Access
Aetna’s commitment to supporting healthy communities was on full display through a recent CVS Health grant that provided $40,000 to the Chicago Park District’s Financial Assistance Fund. This fund plays an essential role in ensuring that all children—regardless of income—can access enriching after-school programs, health and wellness activities, and safe spaces for recreation and growth.
According to the Chicago Park District, this grant will help more than 570 children participate in programs that foster physical activity, social development, and overall well-being. In 2024 alone, the Financial Assistance Fund has supported over 4,700 youth across the city, and contributions like Aetna’s ensure this support continues to expand.
